• Re: IOP pressure after dialation
I have been going by walmart to get tested.
I commend you for this. I think it is highly useful and I wish more people would do this. You should be able to get a "volume discount" for the IOP tests. I had a few different doctors of optometry that worked...

  • Re: optic nerve death

  • Re: optic nerve death

andrea: When a part or even the entire optic nerve is dead, I know it does not promote vision. Does theis death grow like when a limb had gangrene? • Re: Does my treatment is on Right path? Does eye drops will work for me?

  • Re: How to help the ophtalmologist find the right medication.

Richard - it's good to have your participation on FitEyes.com. I have done some work to correlate intraocular pressure and blood pressure, although I have not done anything extensive. My intraocular pressure seems to fluctuate more than my blood pressure. You can probably find some interesting articles...

  • Re: How to help the ophtalmologist find the right medication.

Richard Lemieux: My question is : Has anyone tried that route before and has anyone some recommendations to make. Is there any model of tonometer used by optometrists that would provide good enough data? Hi Richard. That's an excellent question! This is nearly the same route I took when I started. The...

  • Re: Timing of Eye drops: how precise that should be?

The simple answer to your first question is that you should be fine altering the time of day for your eye drops two days of the week for your work schedule. I almost never use my eye drops at exactly the same time of day. My schedule varies by an hour or more very frequently. Precise measurements of...

  • Re: Cateract Surgery and Tonometer Accuracy

Hi jayhawk1 - I don't know of much research in this area off the top of my head. Here's one citation from my citation database that may help you: 1. P Denis, et al., “Evaluation of the Tono-Pen 2 and the X-Pert noncontact tonometers in cataract surgery,” Ophthalmologica. Journal international d'ophtalmologie...
