Spikes in IOP with open angle

I have elevated pressure only in one eye, which began after I had
surgery for macular pucker in early March. Immediately after surgery
the pressure skyrocketed to 55 causing severely clouded vision, and I
went into a panic, of course, but the retinal surgeon brought it down
quickly with Diamox which I had to take for about a week. The
pressure, although at the top acceptable limit, had been controlled
since then by Alphagan 3x/day. However, in the past month, I
have had 2 major spikes in my iop, enough to make my vision very
cloudy and send me scampering directly to my opthamologist. The first
time was just before Christmas, and the pressure was 36. My regular DO
was already on vacation, so I went the the DO covering for him and he
