My GDx Nerve Fiber Analysis Results

Here are my GDx Nerve Fiber Analysis results from my eye exam today. The results are slightly better than my last GDx exam as well as my GDx exam from about two years ago. At this point I doubt we can say anything concrete about the significance of the positive change except that things are certainly not getting worse!

I'm actually quite pleased for a lot of reasons. I was a bit concerned about the fact that approximately a year ago I stopped taking almost all the (expensive) vitamin supplements I used to take. (I still take a few herbs.) Many of those vitamin supplements are said to protect the optic nerve, so I was relieved to find out that the GDx results were better than I expected and I have not suffered due to stopping those supplements. (If you knew the vitamin program I used to be on, you would appreciate the significance of this change -- it was a huge change!) I took a big risk by stopping those supplements, but I'm convinced that I'm on a better path now -- and today's GDx results further boost my confidence in that regard.
