Dear Agnes,
Unfortunately the NGF (Nerve Growth Factor) eye drops are not available on the market since they are murine derivative. NGF should be prepared by a Biotech as human recombinant NGF and go through the regular procedures for any drug on the market. We were allowed to use the drops in patients with severe and progressive disease in spite of all the medical and surgical therapies commonly used: it was a compassionate use on our personal responsibility. Possibly we need few years if everything goes well and if the NGF drops will confirm their effectiveness as shown. Best regards Stefano Bonini
