Dave, hi again,

I would like to ask you another question about the tonometers. This time about the Keeler Pulsair non-contact series. There are different models, some of them are quite old, for example: Keeler Pulsair 2000, Keller Pulsair 3000, Keller Pulsair EasyEye. I am interested to understand the differences between those. It is natural to expect the later models to be more accurate. Is it true? And what about their compliance with the self-tonometry? Are there models which are not appropriate for self-tonometry, less-convenient, etc.?

Hi Dave,

You mention in your blog that you did not undergo SLT surgery. I guess that you did investigate this issue. 

I would like to discuss pros and cons of SLT.

The good things about it as I see them: it can efficiently lower IOP, relatively harmless (compared to ALT and other types of surgeries), one can probably get rid of medications.

Almost every eye specialist you might visit nowadays will confidently answer "of course, not!" Is it so clear? From my personal experience, I learnt that a heavy use of computer (often I spend the whole workday working on the computer) often causes me eye discomfort, pains, and headaches. Therefore, my impression always was that the conventional medicine doesn't have the full answers.

Dave hi, thanks for your answers. Another related question: do you know how the Reichert NCT II tonometer compares with Reichert AT 550/555? Is it accurate? Is it appropriate for self-tonometry? Thank you once again.

- chinese herbs
- meditation

Another question regarding tonometers. Can you comment on the differences between Tono-Pen XL and Tono-Pen Avia? The price difference is quite significant, while many other thing are quite the same. What do you think about Tono-Pen tonometers use for self-tonometry?

Do you have an idea how the Reichert PT100 tonometer compares with Reichert AT 550/555? (the accuracy, the price, convenience for self-tonometry etc). Thanks a lot.
