ALT vs SLT
Because of diminishing visual fields my ophthalmologist has suggested a laser procedure on my right eye. Two years ago my previous physician performed a selective laser trabeculoplasty on my left eye. The results lowered the IOP in the left eye from readings in the high teens to an average below 10 IOP g. My current physician has argon laser trabeculoplasty equipment and feels the ALT procedure as effective as SLT.
